Soaking your foot in lukewarm water with salt for ten to fifteen minutes can help in dealing with athlete’s foot. You can do this every day before going to sleep, until healing of the infection is complete. You can also use tea to dry out sweaty feet, which can worsen your athlete’s foot. Just boil five tea bags and allow to cool enough before soaking your feet in it.
Tea tree oil can be mixed with olive oil and apply on athlete’s foot to cure it. While olive oil is an effective moisturizer, it can also tenderize the skin and its absorption is enhanced with tea tree oil.
