Take a bowl of lukewarm water and sponge the body with the water. This instantly reduces fever as the skin starts evaporating. Take some hot water and mix small quantity of honey, one teaspoon of ginger and small amount of lemon juice. Stir the mixture well and drink once a day for better relief. Generally, lemon and ginger have high medicinal value and act as antioxidants. Drink a glass of herbal tea everyday by mixing a teaspoon of honey. If you are non-vegetarian, you can also drink a small bowl of chicken soup as it helps in preventing respiratory infections.
