Stress can aggravate any colon problems, so it’s important to always keep this in mind so you can keep yourself from anxiety and tension. You can start by doing regular yoga, meditation, or even simple breathing exercises. Whenever you start feeling anxious and tense, you can also do this to calm your emotions.
It should also be noted that fried foods, margarine, oils, dairy produce, and fatty foods, should be minimized to prevent violent contraction of the colon, leading to abdominal pain and diarrhea. This goes the same for spicy foods, since the component found in hot peppers can cause the large intestines to experience spasms.
