How to get rid of congestion

One of the most effective remedies when it comes to dealing with congestion is by drinking lots of fluids to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. As much as possible, stick to drinking at least 8 glasses everyday. You don’t have to limit yourself to water, as you may also include herbal teas, sports drinks, ginger ale, and chicken soup.
You can also inhale steam to ease congestion. Just heat a pan of water until it’s hot enough and producing steam. Hold your head over the pot and slowly breathe the steam through the nose. Just be careful as the steam can also burn the skin and the nose.
