Take 20 basil leaves and boil it with one teaspoon of crushed ginger and one cup of water. Boil the mixture until the water content is reduced to half. Add some little amount of honey and drink this ginger honey tea twice a day for 3 days.
Add half cup of apple cider vinegar to lukewarm bath water. Soak a towel in the water and wrap it around your body for 20 minutes. This helps in reducing the temperature. Continue applying the towel massage whenever the temperature increases. You can also mix two tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with one tablespoon of honey to one glass of water. Drink the mixture two times a day for better results.

If it is hard to bear the fever then there are many actions which can be taken at home. Taking bath with warm water is helpful. This will give time to the body to start sweating and the natural process will activate and the body will be cooled to normal temperature. It is not good to use cold water in fever as the body will defend against cold and the temperature will increase instead of decreasing. You can use sponges with warm water on your warm areas and use water which is warm so that the body could sweat and eliminate fever by controlling temperature.
