The best home remedy for fluid retention is to include more cabbage in the diet. Include cabbage with sandwiches, salads etc as it helps in removing excess water present in the body. Drinking lemon juice can remove excess water present in the body. Eat foods with less amount of salt included in them. Salt retains more water in the body. You can also add some fresh ginger to the foods to ease the effects of water retention. One good source of fresh ginger is Ginger tea. Another easy home remedy is to add some small amount of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. Take a sip of the mixture for better relief.
