Linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) and the flax seeds are a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid, omega-3 essential fatty acids which are used in a variety of inflammatory conditions and digestive problems. Milled flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) has anti-inflammatory and protective effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, and the large amount of mucus containing soothes inflamed and irritated mucous membranes. Two tablespoons of flax seeds are overlaid with 300 ml of water or probiotic beverage. Leave it at least one hour after the seeds swell up and, drink half an hour before meals. Linseed oil is taken half an hour before a meal at a dose of 2 tablespoons per day. The oil oxidizes easily, so need to buy small quantities of cold pressed and unrefined oils and keep it in a dark bottle in the refrigerator.
