If you happen to experience jellyfish sting, you have to stay calm and as soon as possible to get out of the water. The old home remedy that may help is the fig milk. It is a liquid that occurs when you break off the fig leaf. Also, you can rinse the affected place with vinegar because it completely deadens nematocysts and so prevents drainage of toxins. Lemon juice can also be helpful. Sprinkle it on burns and leave on for some time. Do not rub the injection site, as this poison will further rub into the tissue. Try to remove the tentacles with tweezers and scratch the rest of the lining by the wooden stick or card for ATM. This way you will prevent transmission of the poison on the fingers and other body parts.
