To ensure healthy nails, make sure that you trim them short when they’re getting too long. If you don’t cut them soon enough, they can get caught between things and get torn. It can even scratch things, your skin not being an exemption.
It’s also important to follow a healthy diet for your nails. When your nails become too fragile, it means your body is already deficit in iron. So make sure that you eat foods such as liver, beans, whole grain products, and fresh vegetables, to get your recommended daily amount of iron. You can also massage your nails with a cotton ball which you’ve dipped in lemon juice to get firm and shiny nails.
