Soaking in a warm bath is one of the most relaxing things we can do. It’s even effective for women who have just given birth. During post labor, soaking in a warm herbal bath can help heal sore tissues and keep you relaxed and rested after hours of giving labor. There will also be times that the after pains will be too much to handle, so it will be best if you have arnica pellets ready for pain relief. Just take it every four hours for the first three days.
Coconut water will also help keep you hydrated after giving birth, as it can replace the lost electrolytes while in labor. If you don’t like the taste, or its lack of it, you can always add a drop or two of your favorite flavor.
