Make more frequent breaks. Avert your eyes from the paper or screen and look into the distance instead of the object that is in front of you. Change focus on something different every 20 minutes. Quick blink, and then close your tired eyes and relax. Blinking reveals tension of tired eyes and moisturizing eye. During the night, sleep at least seven hours (eight would be ideal). Make sure you have adequate light. Due to poor light while working on the computer or reading, you may have tired eyes. Go to fresh air and widely open your eyes. Three to five times splash your face with cold water.
