Pet’s urine stain
Kathleen 2014-12-16
As much as possible, you should remove your pet’s urine stain before it dries to prevent your pet from re-urinating on the area because of the retained uric acid scent. To remove urine stains that have already penetrated hardwood or your carpet, use undiluted 3.5% hydrogen peroxide to remove it. Just put in a bit of the undiluted solution on the stain and let it soak for a few hours or so. Repeat the process two to three times to make sure that no scent is left on the area, and sprinkle with baking soda after. Use an old toothbrush to work the baking soda into the surface and allow to completely dry before cleaning with a vacuum.
